Trying to Catch Up- Part 1

Yes we are still in Florida and have been busy being with friends, exploring and of course drinking and eating.
 I am trying desperately to catch you up so here goes....

THE MERKLEYS VISIT

John and Ruth, our neighbours from Mississauga, came to visit.

After showing them around our winter home, we headed to the Fishery in Placida for lunch.

After a delicious lunch, John insisted on paying.
Out of his pocket came his murse-yes that nurse was in his pocket.

He tried to pretend it was his camera...

but we knew better.

A great visit, with fun friends from Mississauga.

THE SECOND BOAT LAUNCH

Because of the frequent strong winds, boat launch had to be delayed  several times

However with calmer waters, the second boat launch took place.

Yes, that is my kayak paddle being used to help launch the water vessel.!!!
